The Problem
You know the drill: you need a RAW photo or a Premiere project from two years ago.
You plug in four external drives one by one, wait, click through hundreds of cryptic folders –
only to realise it's on the fifth drive.
It costs time, kills your nerves, and pulls you out of the creative flow.
How Colli works
Plug in a drive. Colli automatically detects your project structures in the background. No manual input, no configuration – it just happens and keeps learning.
Search Spotlight for the project name. Colli instantly tells you the path and drive name – without it being plugged in. You always know exactly where everything is.
Spot duplicate backups, forgotten export folders, and old projects hogging space on your fastest drives.
Colli understands what belongs together – and shows it as a single project.
No uploads, no cloud, no dependencies. Your index stays on your Mac – encrypted and private.
Why Colli?
I'm building Colli because I need it myself. My day-to-day involves dozens of gigabytes of data,
scattered across SSDs and archive drives. Regular file managers don't understand how I work.
This tool does. It's the overview macOS should have shipped with.
